PENGETAHUAN LANSIA MENGENAI OBAT BERDASARKAN SUMBER INFORMASI OBAT

Pengetahuan lansia mengenai obat sangat dipengaruhi oleh berbagai sumber yang dapat mereka akses. Penyedia layanan kesehatan terutama farmasi memainkan peran penting dalam memberikan informasi yang jelas dan akurat tentang dosis, efek samping, dan cara penggunaan obat. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian observasional deskriptif. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan secara non probabilitas dengan metode consecutive sample. Sampel merupakan lanjut usia (lansia) berumur ? 60 tahun menggunakan analgetika non opioid yang masuk dalam kriteria inklusi sebanyak 400 responden. Penelitian ini menggunakan instrument berupa kuesioner yang dibuat oleh peneliti dan telah dilakukan serangkaian uji validitas dan uji realiabilitas. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa sumber informasi obat pada lansia adalah tenaga kesehatan (49,5%), orang sekitar (38,8%), resep dokter (10,2%) dan layanan internet (1,5%). Sumber informasi dari resep dokter paling banyak memengaruhi pengetahuan lansia daripada sumber informasi lain dimana 73% lansia mengetahui nama obat, 29,3% lansia mengetahui dosis obat, dan 9,8% lansia mengetahui efek samping obat.
